95% of all garbage in the ocean comes from asia, africa and south america!
Please make podcast episodes with those videos. I am not that often on youtube, but your videos are always so insightful!
Social housing being on decline is so sad. The remnants of social housing are the only reason students can afford apartments in my country, Denmark. Yes, we have more social housing as mentioned in the video, but it's not funded at all at the level it should. We also have a racist apartheid "Ghetto law" which discriminates neighbourhoods if they have too many immigrantsx, put them on a list, and the social housing is forced to be destroyed and expensive private housing is built on top of the cheap land, that the people living there are evicted from. It actually goes against human rights, but the danish government goes unpunished sadly.
Landlords are the eternal villain that no politicians actually want to fight
Europeans are not interchangeable with Africans, Indians or any other groups. A piece of paper saying you're a resident or citizen does not tie you to the land and culture. If Europe is to revive it needs immediately end migration/asylum, deport migrants and promote European birth rates not importing people from the third world.
Another point which was left out here is the change of the family structure More people are living alone and occupy more space Investing into housing or just owning more than one houses has become pretty popular for the rich (my neighbor, lol) Combine this with all of them moving to a few parts of the country while less developed and more rural regions are being emptied
I think you are forgetting the fact that the demographic problem also is because of to high house prices, that's one of the biggest reasons why nobody is having kids annymore...
Excellent Analysis as always! CY is not included in your painting 🖼️:)
Also include TIPS on your UA-cam channel ❤
No services must be provided to the migrants! Only deportation service.
There is another reason, vacation homes. I live in a small village and about 30% of houses are empty 90% of the year. Bought up by richer older folks as a vacation/second homes.
Wrong. People invest into housing, buying 10+ pushing prices up
Basic maths. You import 20% of the population over 10 years without planning to handle the increase. Quickest solution is to stop giving out new visas as well as renewing old ones. Then deport all the false asylum seekers and stop actively encouraging both genuine and false asylum seekers to come.
I love your videos! ❤ Good to see indians being first class immigrants. No fuss more work and peaceful.
People on work permit/visa still have a large chunk of immigrants under Family category and Education. EU should stop this Family category. If people are for Work then they stay work and should go back not try and start bringing families and start applying for permanent residency. Same with Education.
People don't understand how long it takes to rebuild from war. Even Vietnam hasn't recovered from deforestation and congenital birth defects (deformed children STILL being born today) due to Agent Orange + bombs. War is f**king horrible and anyone who says otherwise needs to sit down and reassess their life. For starters, learn some empathy
I’m still not entirely sure what the AfD even is. From my gatherings, it’s supposedly a “neo-nazi” party. Of course 95% of people on this planet don’t know what national SOCIALISM is. Ultimately, I’m left with the standard European “far right” party. Which is literally just ‘we don’t like mass migration.’ Other supposed “far right” parties like National Rally and ReformUK are very similar: ‘We don’t like mass migration, change a few things here and there from the previous leftist socialist government, but more or less keep it the same.’ Seriously, if the AfD is out there calling for extreme welfare intensification, and more intense nazi rhetoric then we could say they’re ‘neo-nazi.’
get out
Just adopt Freedom to Build Housing Policies & Zoning Regulations from Japan. It will make it much easier for supply to catch up with demand. You can even put stipulations to keep the same decor/style so the culture isn't watered down or lost.
There's no integration
Individuals of the Muslim faith 🕌 from various regions across the globe 🌍 make their way to the United Kingdom 🇬🇧. Regardless of their country of origin, they share a common religious identity as Muslims ☪️.
So, Solutions: 1- Build more social housing and don't sell them this time 2- Put big percentage taxes if someone has more than 1 or 2 house 3- Loosen constriction restrictions Chose your fighter! I go for 1&2 combined.
Why don’t we focus on converting office space to residential space (with governments’ help), given the spread of remote work?
an easy way to solve this housing issue could be to simply make illegal for retirees to live or own anything inside a city, force them to sell any city property they may have, and force them to moove to rural countryside. retirees don't need to be in cities, since they do not work anymore, hence, don't need to be in close proximity to jobs. and since jobs are mainly concentrated in urbanised area, it is only natural that living in a city should be a working-age-people thing. beside, this forced retiree exodus toward rural areas would have the effect of redynamising the countryside (as more inhabitants for the vacants unhabited housing in the countryside, and more people with a passive income (retirement pension) going there and spending their passive income into products.
you need a ETFA/EU Passport or Italian Residence permit.
Its not the cheapest homes there that are interesting, its the ones that auction for 10 to 50K. People that buy those tend to be happy with their purchase.
Its income inequality. The more wealth is concentrated people looking for work have to gather around the wealthy and service there whims for income . So you have unofordabilty in some places and houses you cant sell for £1 in others .
People saying "Look at Eastern Europe, prices went up and there is no immigration" are wrong. If it's anything like my city, there may not be big non-EU immigration, but I noticed much more German, French, Dutch, Belgian and other people in my city (basically in-EU migration), mainly older folks or digital nomads, who have ability to work or live in my city with no requirement to be fixed in their country of origin. 10-15 years ago you barely heard anything but local language, or at most German. Now in some parts of the city you barely hear language of my country and I'm not talking about tourists.
Unaffordable, undesirable, low quality housing is a big issue in Canada and the US atm as well. I just want the whole system to crumble at this point. They are building cheap low quality hosuing all around me. But the prices are unaffordable for the average wage in my state. I live in one of the top 10 moved too states in the country and I just dont get it. We dont have good jobs or good housing. My mother bought a town house in the 90s for 40k usd making less than 15 buck a hour. All by herself. New townhomes are 200k and I only make 15 as a electrician. A actual house is 300k and up and of course low quality materials, tiny yards, not much parkign space, and cookie cutter dystopian looks. Its completely flawed.
I see as well the influence of the COVID into the housing prices. At first the pandemic caused landlords to sell their properties, therefore these houses aren't available anymore for the market after the sell. And with the cost of materials and the European burocracy no new houses were built fast enough, causing a pressure on the prices... Take a look on United States, they had this problem and now with the rise of interest rates + a lot of new construction the housing prices stopped rising. They still have the housing prices high, but it's getting better when compared to Europe.
Think all is good as long as Americans appreciate the concept of taxes for social solidarity. Not just about taking free healthcare or education etc but the need to help all in society
WORST PART ABOUT EUROPE, NO-VISAS FOR WHITE PEOPLE TO RETURN HOME
They should do like the middle east, have workers come in build and then send them home with money for building. AND HAVE ZERO CHANCE TO STAY
According to the PVV (the party that won 24% of all votes in Netherlands) nearly all issues currently in Netherlands are a direct result of migration... (Sarcasm) So a housing shortage (basic market economics where Demand > Supply) with the government NOT investing sufficiently in housing, is completely overlooked. Yes, when you have large agrofirms (I refuse to call them average farmers) taking up too much space, making housing a luxury and not a basic necessity you get these kind of scenarios!
There are very easy solutions to increase the supply and availability of apartments. Simply, invest more money into infrastructure (e.g. local trains/trams) so there will be more space for investment. Reduction of regulations would also help. I cant understand why the governments don’t do it? Any action taken should focus on increase of supply.
Mass-deportations are inevitable.
We Turks do not have a concept of "western" or "eastern". For us, we are "Turkish". Those concepts are alien to us.
FACT Europe is being invaded!
In Germany there is currently little political acceptance of the notion that immigration can or should be regulated through the lense of economic benefits - something that has been common sense for decades elsewhere. This has exascerbated many issues and the question of housing specifically - the latter being primarily an economic matter in the end of the day. Even worse, there seems to be no realization among the country's current leadership that the way things are going now can easily lead to large backlash with rightwing parties coming into power in growing parts of the country, something that the polls are in fact already indicating. Given the country's history, there is a huge ongoing discussion in politics as to how to best fight these parties. However, there seems to be no acceptance of the idea that a real change in policies is needed.
God sent COVID to save us from the Boomers and we saved them 😢
simple, staying behing because is stacking with America.
Love the video but did want to point of that all immigrants are not necessarily from the low income group. I’m an Indian , living and working in Ireland and the Indian diaspora here is among the richest and paying taxes in the highest bracket.
And yet we are back at the same issue that plagues us: immigration.
EU just copied what the 🇺🇸 did that destroyed the farmers and generations later, those same families subsist on China imported food. We can’t let the EU destroy Europe!!!!
The problem is jobs being concentrated in one place. Take Netherlands for example. No one wants to live in Groningen. So now Groningen wants to become a suburb of Amsterdam by demanding direct train to Amsterdam that reduces commute time. This is the case in all countries. Not sure what's the solution
Great replacement fact
European likes to make simple thing complicated 😂
I kind of hate that building social housing again gets immediately dismissed because of the political impossibility of building it for immigrants. Blue collar labor is blue collar labor, who cares where they're from the housing is there to provide a net gain for the country and its society. Too many old, European boomers want immigrants in their countries to fund their retirement but can't even be bothered do something as basic as house them as they do so...
Of course they should get paid, they are working! If they dont get paid, they need to live from their savings, meaning that i will be reachable for wealthier people as students with non-wealthy parents will not have enough money to work 6 months for free!
Verry nice inside for such young man!
